A shoplifter has been jailed after breaching an order stopping her from getting into retailers in Preston Metropolis Centre.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary had been known as to Subsequent and Ann Summers on Fishergate on Saturday, 12 April 2025, after studies that fragrance presents units and different objects had been stolen.
Michala Bailey, 48, of Skeffington Highway, Preston was arrested close by and later charged with two counts of theft from a store and breach of a Prison Behaviour Order.

She appeared earlier than Preston Magistrates’ Courtroom yesterday (14 April) the place she pleaded responsible to the offences and was sentenced to eight weeks in jail.
Bailey was handed a Prison Behaviour Order final August which prevents her from getting into metropolis centre shops and procuring centres till 2026
Inspector Dave Byrne, from Preston’s Neighbourhood Policing group, stated: “Shoplifting will not be a victimless crime and it has a big affect on native companies and the communities they serve.
