Serial burglar has targeted at least 27 businesses in 3 weeks, Chicago police say

CHICAGO — Police are working to establish a one-man crime wave accountable for burglarizing a minimum of 27 companies throughout the North and Northwest Sides of Chicago over the previous three weeks.

The serial burglar is breaking entrance home windows and doorways to get inside the companies so he can steal cash from the money registers, in response to a brand new CPD alert.

5100 block of West Irving Park between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

Police described the suspect as a male of unspecified race carrying a black hat, black gloves, a black masks, darkish clothes, and a black backpack. CPD additionally launched a brief video of the suspect.
