PPP Slams DP for Attacking Judiciary, Damaging Constitution l KBS WORLD

The ruling Folks Energy Social gathering(PPP) has slammed the principle opposition Democratic Social gathering(DP) for attacking the judiciary, abusing parliamentary impeachment energy and damaging the Structure to guard its former chief Lee Jae-myung.

In a press release on Saturday, PPP senior spokesperson Yoon Hee-seok criticized the DP for passing impeachment motions towards prosecutors concerned in corruption probes towards Lee and asking for public tip-offs amid criticism the opposition lacked foundation for its actions.

The spokesperson claimed the DP’s actual intent is to assault prosecutors who had investigated the principle opposition.

Referring to the DP’s push to carry a public listening to on impeaching the president, citing a public petition, the PPP mentioned the opposition has, in impact, acknowledged that presidential impeachment is its final objective.

The spokesperson urged the DP to cease its “atrocious maneuver” to destroy governance by legislation, saying such schemes is not going to take away prices laid out towards its former chief.
