A 24-year-old was arrested in South Seattle Sunday evening after fleeing from police in a automobile that had been stolen throughout a violent carjacking final week.
Simply earlier than 9 p.m. on Sunday patrol officers got here throughout a stolen automobile driving close to Renton Avenue South and South Henderson Avenue. The car had been stolen throughout a carjacking in North Seattle on Nov. 25. Throughout that incident, a 27-year-old man was shot within the kneecap.
Officers pursued after the automobile for about 10 minutes in and round South Seattle and Interstate 5. The pursuit reached speeds of over 100 mph earlier than the stolen car driver misplaced management and crashed right into a guard rail on the northbound I-5 onramp at South Colombian Approach.
