Seattle police arrested a 48-year-old lady after she kidnapped a 1 1/2-year-old lady in South Seattle this afternoon.
At 2:46 p.m. patrol officers responded to experiences of a kid abduction from a daycare within the 9300 block of Rainier Avenue South.
The suspect is thought to the kid’s mom and fled the realm with the kid in a grey sports activities automotive.
Seattle cops coordinated search efforts with a number of legislation enforcement businesses, and tracked the suspect to Pacific Freeway South and South 324th Road in Federal Means.
When Federal Means Law enforcement officials situated the car, the suspect ran away from police on foot. Officers apprehended her shortly after and arrested her.
They safely rescued the kid at about 5:45 p.m.
Police transported the suspect to the Federal Means police station. Shortly thereafter, Seattle police took custody of her.
Officers will e-book her into the King County Jail after she is interviewed by detectives at Seattle Police Headquarters.
Seattle police returned the kid to her household on the SPD South Precinct.
