Cmdr. Stacey O’Neal was fired as head of Navy Expertise Acquisition Group San Antonio “attributable to a lack of confidence in her capacity to carry out her duties,” the Navy stated in a short assertion.
No different cause was offered for O’Neal’s firing, and the Navy repeatedly makes use of the “lack of confidence” line when asserting such CO firings.

The prior-enlisted O’Neal has served for greater than 30 years and assumed command of the recruiting unit that oversees dozens of recruiting stations within the space.
She served because the unit’s second-in-command earlier than that, and commenced her profession as a machinist’s mate.
