Increase in vandalism at Haslam Park sees “extensive and costly” repairs

A Preston park is interesting for data after a rise in vandalism.

Over the previous few weeks, Haslam Park in Ashton-on-Ribble has seen legal harm, leading to “in depth and expensive” repairs.

The vandalism consists of noticeboards set on hearth and benches lower up with a noticed.

One tree was pulled out of the bottom and destroyed, two timber snapped off on the high of the cage with tree cages broken past restore.

A spokesperson for Preston Parks mentioned: “Seeing these damages could be very disappointing for our parks crew and the chums of Haslam Park group who work exhausting to make our parks a protected and satisfying place for all.”

The harm has been reported to the police who Weblog Preston approached for additional remark.
