A spokesperson for police stated: “We had been referred to as to a report of a sudden dying at Preston Docks, at round 5:40am this morning.
“Officers attended, and really sadly the physique of a person in his 80s was found. His household have been knowledgeable, and our ideas are with them at this very unhappy time.
“There usually are not regarded as any suspicious circumstances surrounding his dying, and a file might be handed to the coroner in the end.”
