Seattle Police arrested an armed mail thief within the Gatewood neighborhood in West Seattle two weeks in the past.
On August seventh at 12:51 a.m., patrol officers responded to stories of a male carrying a ski masks breaking into mailboxes within the 7900 block of thirty fifth Avenue Southwest.
Whereas investigating the crimes, seven neighborhood members have been discovered to be victimized.
Police situated the suspect close by and arrested him. He was in possession of a number of items of proof, together with stolen mail, suspected stolen financial institution playing cards, a steel pry bar, and he was concealing a loaded firearm.
The person had an expired Hid Pistol License and was prohibited from carrying the firearm in that method. The Beretta APX 9mm semi-automatic handgun was seized as proof.
The 28-year-old suspect was arrested for Theft of Mail, Felony Trespass, Malicious Mischief, and Illegal Carry of a Pistol. He was booked into King County Jail.
Fees have been referred to the King County Prosecuting Legal professional’s Workplace for the above crimes together with Possession of Stolen Mail.
Detectives within the Basic Investigations Unit have been assigned to this case.
