CHICAGO — Lower than 24 hours after his workplace insisted that Mayor Brandon Johnson would attend Monday’s funeral for slain Chicago Police Officer Enrique Martinez regardless of the grieving household’s needs, Johnson reversed course Saturday.
Johnson’s workplace now says the mayor won’t attend.
