North Korea has appointed a brand new ambassador to Cuba.
The North’s international ministry introduced on its web site on Thursday that Han Su-chol was appointed as North Korea’s ambassador to Cuba.
Not a lot is thought about Han apart from that he had been talked about within the North’s state-run media because the deputy head of the worldwide division of the Central Committee of the Staff’ Social gathering of Korea since 2022.
Han’s predecessor, Ma Chol-su, had returned to the North in March, or a couple of month after South Korea and Cuba established diplomatic ties.
Some observers say Pyongyang had Ma return residence as a strategy to categorical its dissatisfaction over the institution of such diplomatic relations.
